The Commission was created to protect the health, safety and welfare of the public through examinations, licensing and regulatory activities, to defend and enforce real estate laws and regulations that apply equally to all, to provide courteous, reasonable, and professional assistance, and to take impartial action disciplinary.
The Commissioner of the Office is a voting member of all boards and commissions under the Department's jurisdiction, except the State Board of Certified Real Estate Appraisers and the Navigation Commission for the Delaware River and its navigable tributaries. Upon approval by the Commission, the thirty transactions may include real estate services performed for a licensed employer during the 5 years immediately preceding the request. D) During his service on the Commission, no member shall be president, president-elect, vice-president, secretary, treasurer, director or other elected official of a professional association of real estate service providers. Upon approval by the Commission, the twenty transactions may include real estate services performed for a licensed employer during the 3 years immediately preceding the request.
Prior to making the request, that person will retake and pass the applicable Real Estate Course for Sellers or Brokers and will retake and pass the appropriate Seller or Broker Commission examination.
